1. Policy Statement

Shock Busters is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment across all operations. We ensure that our business practices, team engagements, sub-contractor relationships, and client interactions remain free from discrimination, harassment, sexual harassment, vilification, and victimization.

2. Scope

This policy applies to Shock Busters management, employees, contractors, sub-contractors, and representatives across all jobsites, premises, and client locations in NSW, ACT, and QLD.

3. Anti-Discrimination Standards

Shock Busters enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy against direct or indirect discrimination based on protected legal attributes, including:

  • Age, race, color, nationality, or ethnic origin
  • Sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, or intersex status
  • Physical, intellectual, or psychiatric disability
  • Marital status, parental status, pregnancy, or family responsibilities
  • Religious or political beliefs
  • Industrial activity or union membership

4. Workplace & Site Conduct

All personnel operating under the Shock Busters brand must:

  • Treat clients, site managers, co-workers, and members of the public with professionalism, courtesy, and respect.
  • Refrain from offensive language, bullying, unwelcome physical/verbal conduct, or discriminatory behavior.
  • Maintain high standards of professional integrity and technical safety at all times.

5. Issue Resolution & Contact

  • Direct Resolution: Any team member, sub-contractor, or client with concerns regarding workplace conduct or discriminatory behavior should contact Shock Busters management directly.
  • Fair Handling: All raised concerns are handled promptly, respectfully, and confidentially.
  • Protection against Retaliation: No individual will face adverse action for raising a concern or reporting discriminatory behavior in good faith.
